FAQ
- Are my documents uploaded?
- No. Your documents are never part of a request. The network is used to fetch the tool’s code, the same as any page, and the merge itself runs here. Watch the network panel while it works: that is the version of this claim you can check yourself.
- How many files, and how big?
- No file count limit and 100 MB per file. The limit is what a browser tab can comfortably hold, not a plan we are trying to sell you out of.
- Does it keep bookmarks and form fields?
- Pages, text and images come across intact. Bookmarks, form fields and annotations are not carried over, and if you need those a paid editor is the honest answer.
- What about a password protected PDF?
- A file that only has an owner password can usually be read and merged. One that needs a password to open cannot be, and it should not be.
