FAQ
- Is my video uploaded?
- No. Unlike the tools that upload, this one sends your video nowhere at all. The network is used to fetch the rebuilding code when you pick a file, and after that the work is entirely on your machine.
- Then why is there a size limit?
- Because your own machine has to hold the video while it works. It is handled in short stretches rather than all at once, so memory stays bounded, but a 4K file still asks a lot of a laptop. 500 MB is a limit most machines will survive, not one a server imposed.
- Which browsers work?
- Chrome, Edge and recent Safari. Firefox support is still partial, and the tool says so rather than failing silently.
- Is the sound reversed too?
- Yes, when the video has a soundtrack your machine can rebuild. If it cannot, you get a silent reversed video rather than an error.
