FAQ

Is my image uploaded?
No. Your image is never part of a request. The network fetches the codec, and the conversion runs here.
WebP to PNG or WebP to JPG?
PNG if you need lossless or transparency, JPG if it is a photo and you want it small. Transparency does not survive a JPG, which puts white behind it instead.
What about HEIC from an iPhone?
Not yet. HEIC needs its own decoder and it is on the list. Everything else a browser can read is handled here.
Does converting lose quality?
To PNG, never. To JPG, WebP or AVIF you choose the quality, and the slider goes high enough that the difference stops being visible well before the file stops shrinking.
