Drop the DXF in
It is read on your machine and sent nowhere, which matters more for a drawing than for most files: it is usually somebody’s project and sometimes under an agreement not to share it.

It is drawn onto a page
The page takes the drawing’s own proportions, so a long site plan does not end up floating in the middle of a portrait sheet with white on both sides.

Send the PDF
It opens on any phone, any laptop, in any browser, and it prints. Nobody at the other end needs CAD, or a licence, or an account.
FAQ
- Is my drawing uploaded?
- No. It is read and converted here, on your own machine, and nothing is sent anywhere.
- Can I give it a DWG?
- Not directly. Save it as DXF first, which every CAD program can do. DXF is the format published for exchanging drawings, and it is the one that can be read honestly rather than guessed at.
- Can I choose the paper size?
- Not yet. The page is sized to the drawing rather than to A4 or Letter, so nothing is cropped and nothing is stranded in a margin. Print it to whatever paper you have and let the printer scale it.
- Is the text in the PDF selectable?
- No. The drawing is placed on the page as artwork, so it prints and zooms cleanly but you cannot select a room name and copy it. If you want the words, the SVG keeps them as text.
- Why is a layer missing?
- Everything the file holds is drawn. What cannot be drawn is listed after the conversion, and the usual reasons are a reference to a drawing that was not included, or a three dimensional solid, which is a shape rather than a set of lines.
