FAQ
- Are my images uploaded?
- No. Your images are never part of a request. The network is used once, to fetch the tool’s own code, exactly as it would be for any page you open. After that the PDF is assembled here. Open the network panel and watch while it runs: nothing of yours goes up.
- How many images can I put in one file?
- As many as your machine will hold. There is no page cap and no daily limit, because there is no account to attach one to.
- My scans came out sideways
- Some cameras record the rotation as a tag rather than in the pixels. Turn the pages afterwards with Rotate PDF, also free and also local.
- What about an odd JPEG that will not open elsewhere?
- Progressive and CMYK JPEGs, the sort a scanner produces, defeat a lot of converters. Your browser decodes them, so they are redrawn here rather than rejected.
