Acrobat is a serious tool with a serious price, and the annoyance is not that it costs money: it is being billed monthly, forever, for something you use twice a quarter to staple two documents together. That job needs no subscription and no server. - Can I edit the text in a PDF?
- No. That is Acrobat’s real trick and it is genuinely hard. This does not do it, and a page that claimed otherwise would waste your afternoon.
- Can I sign a document?
- No. E-signatures need identity and an audit trail, which is a service, not a page. If you need one, Acrobat earns its fee.
- Are my documents uploaded?
- No. All four run on this page. That is the difference worth caring about: Acrobat, Smallpdf and iLovePDF all want the contract on their servers before they will help you.
- Is there a daily limit?
- No counter and no account to attach one to. The 100 MB cap per file is what a browser tab holds comfortably, not a plan we are steering you toward.
