Is my photo uploaded?
No. Resizing happens on this page. Load it, go offline, and it still works.
Will my image get distorted?
The aspect ratio lock is on by default, and the ready made sizes centre your image rather than stretching or cropping it. Turning the lock off and typing both numbers by hand is the only way to distort.
Can it enlarge an image?
Yes, up to 400 percent, and it will come out soft: stretching pixels cannot invent detail that is not in the file. If you want a bigger picture that is also sharp, Upscale Image is the one that guesses the missing detail instead of spreading what is there.
Where do the social sizes come from?
The platforms’ own published specs: 49 formats across Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok, from profile pictures to banners and ad frames.
