FAQ
- Is my recording uploaded?
- Yes. It goes to our servers, gets processed, and is dropped. It is not stored, not logged, and never used to train anything. We keep no copy: there is no database in this app to keep one in.
- Is there a length limit?
- No. A three hour recording is simply cut into more pieces before it is sent, so it never becomes one enormous upload.
- Where does it cut a long recording?
- At the quietest moment near each boundary, so the cuts land between words rather than through them. Naive splitting is why some tools return garbled text at the seams.
- Which languages?
- Around 99. Leave the language on automatic unless the audio is short or noisy, in which case naming it helps.
