Remove.bg Alternative
a transparent PNG, without the credits
remove.bg does one job and does it well. So does this one: drop an image, get the subject cut away from its background, download it at full resolution with the transparency intact. The job is the same. The bill is the difference.
What you stop paying
| remove.bg, per image | |
| This page, per image | $0 |
One thing worth saying plainly, because you will find out anyway: on hair and semi transparent edges remove.bg still tends to win. On products, people and objects against a plain background the two are close enough that you would have to be told which was which. If a cutout here is not good enough for what you are doing, that is exactly the case where paying $0.20 is worth it.
How to switch
- 1
Stop counting credits
Nothing here is metered, so there is no balance to watch and nothing that expires at the end of the month.
- 2
Drop the image in
JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF or AVIF, up to 20 MB. The limit is checked before anything starts, not halfway through.
- 3
Download the PNG
Full resolution, transparent background, no watermark over the middle of it.
FAQ
- Is there a watermark on the free result?
- No. There is no free tier here because there is no paid tier to protect, which is the usual reason a watermark exists.
- Is my photo uploaded?
- Yes. It goes to our servers, gets processed, and is dropped. It is not stored, not logged, and never used to train anything. We keep no copy: there is no database in this app to keep one in.
- How many images can I do?
- There is no counter. There is a rate limit per address so one person cannot flood it, set well above what anyone editing their own photos will hit.
- What about the background afterwards?
- Putting white or a brand colour behind the cutout is a separate tool here, also free, and that one never uploads anything at all.
The other five
remove.bg is a trademark of its owner. This page is a comparison, not an affiliation, and the price quoted is their own published rate.
